about

The track is selected from the album "Kur giria užėjo" (Where the woods came) - the first solo record by Agota Zdanavičiūtė - talented Lituanian singer and player of kanklės (traditional string instrument). Agota is known from Sen Svaja group and many other folk projects.

The album presents 8 creative post-folklore compositions, inspired by fairy tales of Eugenija Šimkūnaitė (1920—1996) - the famous scientist, herbalist, writer, real sorcerer, who dedicated her entire life to the beauty and wisdom of Nature.

The CD album was published in a very original and artful shape, every copy comes with a personal touch of Agota's hands, each one is different and carries a blessing piece of Nature. Go forward to the forest for new magic discoveries!
