Unique poetry, music and graphic art album by Martynas Juchnevičius, the author and vocalist of Lituanian prominent indie rock band LYGIAI LYJA, that was well known in 1990s. His project MARTS is exploring creative works by Martynas' father Eduardas Juchnevičius (1942 – 2011), one of the most interesting and brilliant Lituanian artists in Atgimimas (National revival) period.

It appears to be a unique transcendental succession - father's poetry was revitalized in music and singing of his son. 13 songs of album “Šv. Roko Šuo” (Dog of St. Roche) are made in original downtempo blend, creative connection of psychedelic rock, ambient electronic, jazzy experimental music.

Lyrics by Eduardas Juchnevičius from the same titled 1996 poetry book are conceptual, intelectual and deep, presenting a special form of art, that is not easy to grasp in a first listening. Here is a strong natural link between words and sound, that is recalling soul of that surreal time of 1990s idealism in Baltic culture and art.

Previously MARTS have published album "Semba" (2019), using Eduardas Juchnevičius' poetry readings from old recorder, merging them with subtle electronic and ambient soundrtacks. "Semba" is exploring ancient Prussia themes, that are very important for Baltic roots researchers.
