The best Winter Solstice album, once made together by famous Baltic ritual folk hroup Kulgrinda and a noble neofolk artist Donis. Archaic Winter Solstice (Kalėdos, Yule) chants wrapped in profound and subtle musical arrangements.

Sotvaras carries the eternal tale about the magic origin of the world. It brings the sacred experience of the time, when the whole world gets restarted by the greatest and most enigmatic primal God. One of His manifestations is named Sotvaras. The new cycle begins with clear refined beauty ambient, followed by various folk instruments, tranquil atmospheric passages and truly old heathen chants.

The album was recorded in 2003 by Donis and several singers of Kūlgrinda group. You can hear the voice and outstanding chanting by Romuva leader Krivis Jaunius - Jonas Trinkūnas (1939 - 2014). The recording session took place in a simple cellar in Vilnius old town, therefore it sounds natural, sincere and authentic.
